Appliqué Alternatives – 10 part course once a month

Time: half day - either 10:00 – 13:00 or 13:30 - 16:30
Venue: 1 Wheelwright Lane, Burgess Hill, West Sussex, RH15 0QS.

Pay £36 deposit to register for the course;
you will then pay £18 at each class with nothing to pay at the last 2 sessions as these are covered by your initial payment.

The course will cover many different forms of appliqué, mostly by hand, including Fusible web, Freezer Paper, Needle-Turn, Stained-Glass, Hawaiian. 

You will make a number of 8" and 16" blocks which you can choose to make into a sampler quilt, cushion covers or bags.

Refreshments will be provided.

You will need to bring a sewing machine to one class where we will cover satin-stitch machine appliqué; all other techniques are hand sewing.
A requirements list will be sent out prior to the first lesson, but most items may be purchased on the day from the Sleeping Bear Shop.
