Introduction to Patchwork and Quilting [Code:IPQ2]

3 part course run on 3 Saturdays at 2-week intervals 26th April 2008, 10th May 2008, 24th May 2008 NOW FULLY BOOKED Call if you are interested in booking for the future. Explanation of techniques, terms and tools. Choosing and using your fabric. Make a variety of simple blocks using different techniques and learn how to assemble them to make a Sampler Quilt, Bag or Cushion Covers. You will be sent a list of materials required prior to the course. These can be purchased from the Sleeping Bear Mobile Shop which will be on site. All sewing at the classes will be done by hand, but you will probably prefer to use a sewing machine, if you have one, to finish off some of the blocks at home.
