Introduction to Patchwork and Quilting

Explanation of techniques, terms and tools.
Choosing and using your fabric.
Make a variety of simple blocks using different techniques - working with templates, rotary cutting and applique.
Assemble the completed blocks to make a small Quilt (36" square).

You will be sent a list of materials required prior to the course.
These can be purchased in advance or at the class from the Sleeping Bear Shop.
All sewing at the classes will be done by hand, but you will probably prefer to use a sewing machine, if you have one, to finish off some of the blocks at home.

This course will be held at 1 Wheelwright Lane, Burgess Hill, West Sussex, RH15 0QS

Pay £30 to register for the course and then pay a further £30 at each of lessons 1 and 2. There will be nothing to pay at the last class as this is covered by your deposit.

Each lesson runs from 10:00 - 16:00
Light refreshments will be provided, but please bring a packed lunch.
