Fabric Gifts and Treasures – 12 part course on Wednesday afternoons

Starting 1st February 2012
Time: 13:30 – 16:30
Once a month at 1 Wheelwright Lane, Burgess Hill, West Sussex, RH15 0QS.

Pay £40 now to register for the course; you will then pay £20 at each class with nothing to pay at the last 2 sessions as these are covered by your initial payment.
Included in the price you will also receive a copy of the book Omiyage by Kumiko Sudo (rrp £17.99); some of the lessons will include projects from this book.

During the course you will make a number of useful fabric items for your own use or to give as gifts.
These will include items such as small bags, cases for your sewing items, table mats, cushion covers etc.
There will be lots of different techniques used and plenty of scope for artistic embellishment using embroidery, beads and decorative threads.
Refreshments will be provided.

You will need to bring a sewing machine to some of the classes; although some of the sessions will just involve hand-sewing.
A requirements list will be sent out prior to the first lesson, but most items may be purchased on the day from the Sleeping Bear Shop.
