A big thank you to everyone who came a long to our Quilt Display and Fabric Sale at Newick Village Hall on Saturday.
We had a great day and raised £100 for "Help for Heroes" from the teas and coffees.

We have just received a new Sew Simple - Insulating Wadding - Heat Resistant from EQS

It's only £3.20 per metre, Sold in HALF Metre increments (e.g. for 2 metres select a quantity of 4).

It comes as 22" wide, the same as the Insulbright we used to stock.
Made using a combination of Mylar heat resistant film and Hollow Polyester Fibres.
Ideal for use in Pot Holders, Tea Cossies, Oven Mitts, Table Mats, Ironing Board Covers,
Wine Coolers or other projects where you need to keep things hot or cold.
Machine or hand quilt up to 7" appart.

It's always good to think ahead so now's the time to start planning your Christmas projects. Some of our 2011 Christmas fabric has arrived already.
And if the thought of an English winter is too much for you, why not start planning ahead for next summer's holiday -
1 week Quilting in Italy. Our new web-site QuiltingHolidaysItaly.com is now up and running with lots of information about the two Quilt Retreat Workshops that we are holding there in June and September 2012. Even though I'm still working on the details of all the quilting activities, to my delight we already have bookings for both dates.

Alistair and I have found a wonderful location in Umbria that we'd love to share with you.

Everything is included while you are there: workshop tuition and other activities, accommodation, including linen and towels, all meals, including wine with lunch and dinner, local transportation and transfers from/to airports.
All you have to do is to get to Perugia, Rome or Spoleto and we’ll do the rest.
