We use PayPal to process our online payments.
N.B. We do not store credit card details nor do we share customer details with any 3rd parties.
Patchwork Fabric
We supply fabric in either Fat Quarters (0.5 x 0.55 metres 19.5 x 22 inches)
or multiples of 0.5 metres (full width of the bolt selvedge to selvedge normally 1.12 metres/44 inches)
Downloable Products
Unless otherwise stated, any downloaded files, such as Pattern PDFs etc. are for the sole private use of the customer. These files MUST NOT be copied and/or distributed to any third party in any form, either electronically or in printed form whatsoever, without the prior written consent of Sleeping Bear Crafts.

Cancellation of Orders
Under the Distance Selling Regulations you have the right to cancel your order for any item purchased on this web-site within 7 days of placing your order.
You can cancel an order by emailing info@sleepingbearcrafts.com or calling us on 01444 230152.
If we have not yet dispatched the goods, we will cancel your order and make an immediate repayment.
If we have already dispatched the goods, you will need to return them to us within 30 days of cancellation.
For your own benefit:
Please pack any returned goods with care and protection, preferably in their original packaging, as we cannot be responsible for damage during return shipment.
Please obtain proof of posting.
You may wish to use Special Delivery if the value of the returned goods exceeds £41.00.
Once we have received the goods in a satisfactory condition, we will make a repayment of the full value of the original order, but NOT the cost of the return postage.
Returns and Replacements
We work hard to provide good service and high quality products.
If goods have been damaged in transit, please let us know within 7 days of delivery, and we will arrange for a replacement to be sent. You may be asked to return the goods to us, but we will refund your postage in these cases.
If there are any pieces missing, please let us know as soon as possible so that we can send them on.
If goods are faulty, please return them to us, in their original packaging, within 60 days of receipt. Let us know whether you would like a replacement, credit or a refund. In any case your postage will be refunded.
If you are dissatisfied with the goods for any other reason or if we have failed to provide the level of service you expected, please let us know as soon as possible so that we can rectify the situation.
In all cases please supply the following information:

Please pack any returned goods with care and protection as we cannot be responsible for damage during return shipment.

Postage and Packing Charges
For the majority of goods our Postage Charge is dependent on the weight of goods ordered and the destination.
For some goods where additional packaging is required, a fixed Postage Charge may apply.
In all cases the Postage Charge options will be shown at checkout, so you will know the total cost before you finally submit your order for payment.
For the UK we offer Royal Mail 1st or 2nd Class postage (2nd Class is only available for orders up to 1Kg), or Courier delivery.
International orders up to 2Kg are sent by Royal Mail Airmail (4kg in EU).
Customers can choose to collect their orders in person at any of our workshops. In these cases ther will be no charge for P&P.

Workshops and Classes
Full-Day Workshops - Your place is secured by paying a deposit of 50% of the workshop fee. The balance is payable at the workshop.
If you have to cancel your booking please let us know as soon as possible.
If we can fill your place you may choose to receive a full refund, less a £5 administration fee, or to transfer your booking to another workshop.
If we are unable to fill your place, you will forfeit your deposit.
You may be offered a place on a later date if the workshop is repeated and is not fully booked.
Half-Day Multi-Part Workshops - Your place is secured by paying a deposit equal to the fee for one session. You will then pay the fee quoted for each class, except for the final session, which is covered by your initial payment.
If you have to cancel your booking please let us know as soon as possible.
If we can fill your place you may choose to receive a full refund, less a £5 administration fee, or to transfer your booking to another workshop.

Half-Day Free-Motion Quilting Workshops must be paid for in full at the time of booking.

You will then receive the handout instructions for that class and if possible some extra tuition may be arranged to cover the missing lesson (usually by attending an extra 1 hour before or after a later lesson in the course).
Substitutions
Due to the nature of the fabric industry it is not possible to guarantee long-term supplies of a particular fabric since manufacturers often discontinue designs after a certain time.
Wherever possible the kits supplied will include fabrics as shown in the pictures on this web-site and on the product packaging. However, if necessary, other fabrics of a similar design and colour may be substituted.
In all cases the overall colour scheme of the kit will remain the same.

Product descriptions and pictures will be updated to show the new fabrics as soon as is practically feasible.
Sale Offers
Products and services offered at a reduced price for a limited period MUST be paid for within the sale period, either by credit card or cheque. Cheque payments which arrive at our offices outside the sale period may be refused and the order cancelled.
Free Offers
Products and services offered for free can be withdrawn at any time without notice or substitution.
Any goods or services which have been previously offered for free can at any time have a charge applied to them.
New customers who register with us to download free offers will be automatically added to our eNewsletter mailing list.
