Workshop Bag Pattern - Download

Pattern for Foundation Pieced Workshop Bag.

Step-by-step instructions with easy-to-follow diagrams for making the Foundation Pieced Blocks and how to construct the bag.
Bag will take a 23" x 18" cutting mat and many other tools to workshops and classes.

Our Introduction to Foundation Piecing DVD shows in detail how to make the blocks used in this bag.

Fabric requirements...

For the Foundation Pieced blocks:
choose two contrasting colours (e.g. Purple and Green, Blue and Yellow, Brown and Orange, Red and Green)
You will need 5 shades of one colour ranging from dark to light and 4 shades of the other also ranging from dark to light.
These 9 pieces should each be approx 10" square

PLUS you will need:
1 Fat Quarter of Cream or White
approx 0.5m Vilene Stitch-n-Tear

For the Bag itself:
1.4m fabric for outside of bag
1.4m for bag lining (these could be the same fabric if you prefer)
26" x 40" Pelmet Vilene
20" x 45" Thin Wadding
